Event Sales Manager Job Duties

Event sales managers typically have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

  • Managing the sales staff to ensure that they are executing their responsibilities in an effective and time-efficient manner
  • Increasing the number of attendees and people who are aware of the event through coordinating various forms of advertising, sponsorship, and marketing
  • The process of developing price plans by taking into account market conditions, customer demographics, and the level of competition
  • Maintaining open lines of communication with customers to ascertain their priorities and requirements to stage a successful event
